I’ve been hearing a lot about Magic Eden recently, and honestly, I’m not sure what to think. It’s got this multi-chain thing going on, which sounds cool being able to trade across Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, seems like it could save a lot of headaches. But does it really work as smoothly as they say, or is it just more buzz?
Then there’s their Launchpad. From what I gather, they actually vet projects before they go live, checking for legal stuff and making sure there’s some community backing. Sounds promising, but again, how much does it actually filter out the bad actors? Or is it just a box to tick?
And the creator royalties thing, programmable royalties, they call it. It’s an issue in NFTs for sure, so it’s nice to hear Magic Eden is trying to solve it. But is it as big a deal as people say? Will it actually change how artists get paid? Just not sure if it’s as revolutionary as some make it out to be.
