Is MacBook worth?

Have you seen asus zenbook series? Slick as F

After you mentioned the name, I searched them up and they look real cool. Perhaps, I'd get one one day.

But as of now, I'm using an old Dell laptop that cost me about $500 5 years ago, still, going solid to get my work done :D

Luxury Item, Worth Buying if you making $$$$$ Easily.
Foolish decision to buy if you struggling to make $$$$.

Hehe :) someday! I like the simple design they have! But I am a specifications freak so I would rather get a "bulkier" laptop with good specs to render me that 3D and after effects.

overpriced garbage

only worth it for the "aesthetics"

Yes. Personally I use a Windows PC and Macbook laptop. Best combo for me.

Macbooks are extremely sleek in design and convenient to use so I prefer it over a windows laptop.

PC wise, I grew up using Windows, and I don't ever see myself converting.

Say what you want about Dells, and lots of people have lots to say about them, but I have had a few that have been absolute work horses that lasted years and travelled miles. Dell have had some really great budget laptops in the past, not had one recently though so can't really comment on that.

MacBook late model 2011 17in was my workhorse. Even after fixing the video recall continued problems w/ it make it unusable, too bad it's a great box to work on. I've been working on a Dell Inspiron running Mint. I've got zero issues, screaming fast boot. Easy upgrade from 18.x to 19.x.
All tools run flawlessly (Link-Assistant Suite, Screaming Frog and VM's or CrossOver Apps (Windoze stuff).
If nothing else check out something like Mint on a cheap box and prepare to be impressed with the support and ease of use.
(Warcraft via Blizzard and Private Servers also work well)

Mac works very good, but they are too expensive. i prefer 100% Windows. one year ago i created my own pc, i invested around 1,700 usd. And its Works really good. remember that sometimes they just sell you the Brand.

Macs are cool, dont like apple phones but their laptops and desktops are really nice.

I have a $1700 msi gaming laptop, now I wish I had bought the 13inch macbook pro because I don't play games anymore and I code all day.

Things to consider:
1. If you play games, go with windows
2. If you want to pirate software go with windows
3. If you something upgradeable, go with windows (it can be argued that macs last longer but if you want the latest tech without buying a new laptop, you have to go with windows).
4. If you don't mind walking around with dongles, go with mac
5. If you don't mind paying for software, go with mac
6. If you want 99% reliability, go with mac(I once had my laptop rebooted during a presentation and guess what? It was updating...took 2 hours and I had to cancel my presentation...that was embarrassing af)

Ps: I don't agree with the productivity point because you can be just as productive with a windows laptop, it all depends on you.

I have always used Iphones but never really liked the macbook as much as normal PCs for some reason. I guess its just down to personal preference.

Hey folks, I’m thinking In buying a MacBook Pro, but I’ve been thinking if it’s worth or not. I have an iPhone since 2 years now and I was against Apple products until I tried the IPhone and liked it since then. I currently have a Windows laptop and pretty much it’s a gaming computer. It tends to get full of crap after some time and to slow down (even with SSD). Gaming been taking a lot of my time and I’ve been thinking in switching to the MacBook (Mac OS) for productivity and because it’s a awesome design. So, do you guys think it’s worth? Thanks for the input.
definitely worth it brother

"Overpriced luxury item" LMAO, I've had a MBP for 5 years now and its still going great. Now, my windows laptops prior to me switching to Mac, lasted about 2 years then BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH lmao wtf is that windows sucks

I've never seen a blue screen of death. I use Linux.

Listen to all these cheap noobs talking shit about macs without owning them first.
Macs are the best possible professional computers out there you can get.
Every sane company uses macs instead of pcs in their office, because they are better, longer lasting and CHEAPER in the long run.
Even Microsoft mainly uses macs. IBM switched entirely to macs.

I am not saying that other $1000+ laptops are not good, but there is more to a computer than just some specs and these are the things that make a difference.

I was once an uneducated kid hating on macs because they were expensive, but that was because I grew up in post communist country where rich people are considered evil and everything expensive is considered a ripoff. But then I grew up, earned some money, bought my first iPhone and Mac and could not be happier. I am also using Mac Mini 2012 at the moment as a main computer in my other apartment and it handles all the programming and other stuff I do flawlessly.

Ever since I switched to Apple products, I stopped feeling like I need a new device every now and then. Before, when I was younger, I was switching garbage laptops and garbage phones for newer garbage laptops and phones every 1-2 years, because sadly, that is how people here understand the economy. Then I switched to Apple and POOF! Not a single problem, everything looks as new, feels as new and works as new even after a few years. And I have never had that need to upgrade or switch to a newer model ever since. I guess I will be switching my iMac 2015 and MacBook Pro 2015 in 2020, after good five years and maybe not even then if they keep aging fine like they are now.

I saw people talking that pirated software's doesn't work on apple products if its really true, Hell no

Get a Macbook Pro & Dual-Boot and you can use windows & Macos ;), i have always used windows but macbook pro is cool & practical than most of the other brands belive me.
