Escrow deals can be screwed since at some point you have to accept you got an ok delivery, and you can be screwed after that. This applies even more to threshold accounts.
If I was at your situation, I would rather try to make such an account in-house.

Well, I would use escrow.com that has been in business since 1999 or just buy from someone I trust instead.
