Is Linkjuice drawn from external links only?

Hello,

I learned that the linkjuice of a webpage is divided by the external links on this page. So when there are 10 external links on a page then each of the 10 targetpages get 1/10 of the linkjuice.
How about the internal links? Do they count like external links or have they again the same pool of linkjuice to share? I mean internal links are having linkjuice too as far as I know.
So do you in reality need to say:20 internal links and 10 external links on a page will lead to the result that I get 1/31 or 1/11 of the linkjuice of that site when I place a backlink there?

hmmm, this is pretty cool information, as I read it it sounds pretty easy, however, is there a tool which can analyze a website for you to ensure it links correctly, or does such thing not exist?

My site stocked on PR3 for a year, even it ranks very well in the SERPS and has tons of backlins, I assume it is due to the mentioned reasons...

@RuthSam: PR has nothing to do with ranking because it's not a Ranking factor. If you're doing well with your site then don't fix what's not broken. Good Luck buddy.

So you can only link ones to prevent a decrement loop.
Therefor the correct way to internal link, is to link down from the homepage via silos/categories.


Homepage-> silos -> page ->homepage

Full circle if you will, making each page interconnecting, but only ones.
The homepage; links down into the silos.
The silos; link down to pages(or sub silos), and has a homepage button.
The page; links back via the homepage button.

If you were to cross link you would not spread juice, only decrement.
Resulting in either a index number of pr; No matter how many links you add, you will always stay stuck at pr3 for example.
Or a loss of pagerank; Showing pr3 due to the wrong internal linking, but should actually be pr5.

It seems I dont have a clue what this image says and how to make an advantage of it.
So you say that each link, internal and external will take away linkjuice from the same pool? So in order to get the value of a backlink at a site you need to count the internal + the external links that are already on that page isnt it?

You mentioned siloing. XSitePro supports it so I saw a bit the effect of it. And there is something like silomatic in the downloadsection. But till now I dont know whats the advantage from siloing. Maybe I didnt get the point but siloing tries to make all menuentries linked in a row isnt it? Instead of linking from each website to each website on the same page you connect only to the next site on this page isnt it? But wheres the advantage? Wouldnt the linkjuice only not be splitted? I mean why should there be more linkjuice than before?

Can you explain?

Can someone xplain what the diff between linking a anchor text to domain compared to a blog post is? Id like to know if the PR for homepage is diff than blog posts and if so, why? and should i be linking to my homepage or blog posts?
