is keyword tag spamming bannable ?

i heard its bannable but i see a lot of big legit channels doing this kind of stuff as well

They will not ban you for this. They will promote your video.

Tags have become useless. They won't ban you for it, but they don't help either. You can test this out yourself. Just add a stupid tag to your video (something that doesn't make sense and no one else uses) and see if you can find your video through YouTube search. You won't.

It's 2021, tags not going to help you much, Plus they are not going to ban your channel for this as it's not against the terms and conditions.

Keyword/tag stuffing is not allowed on YouTube as per their Youtube Policies: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2801973?hl=en#zippy=,misleading-metadata-or-thumbnails

But chances of you getting caught are probably small, unless someone reports you. There are lots of channels doing such stuff. However i would still be careful. You never know what YouTube can do. People 100% can get banned for this.

Idk but once in 2014 my account got banned because of it so be careful

They bans for misleading titles after you reach about 500 views.
About spam in description i am not sure 100%.

Not tags.
On a serious note - check the YouTube subforum here, there's a lot of valuable information. Focus on the quality of your video and take enough time for research. Not wrong to invest a bit of money to make some killer thumbnails that grabs people's attention.
