Is keyword density still something you check?

Hello all,

Is keyword density still something you monitor on your own sites and competitors sites? Or is that something no one thinks about these days?

No I don't focus on keyword density anymore.

I try to write my posts so they read comfortably for the end-user. Obviously I use my keywords I just don't look at how often they are used.
 
Nope. The one thing I do, though, is to make sure that the central part of the article is directly related to the main topic I target because sometimes the surrounding subtopics, even if are less significant, are harder to cover with few words.
 
No. But when reading articles from new writers if I notice a long-tail keyword is repeated unnaturally often, I ask them to fix it. There are still many copywriters who think keyword density is a thing and try to insert a given keyword in its original form many times.
 
I only care later, when I go back and tinker with a page for an SEO experiment if I want to improve it or anything. Then it can be something I look at. I've not done enough experiments to decide one way or another. I usually test different things, like complete rewrites of a paragraph, or internal linking.

I do not check. When I go through the article final step, I can notice if keywords are repeated lot of times.

No, i don't focus on keyword density. I will check the article when keyword is used more times otherwise not.

I do not check keyword density now. Now there are tools which generate automatic content fitting in all parameters.
 
All the guys said No but I say Yes cause I'm looking all the things to make sure I'm not wasting my time
 
If there's not at least 200 words between my keywords I feel like it's very noticable...
 
Keyword density isn't as crucial as it used to be in SEO. Focus on relevance, quality, and user intent when crafting your content instead!
 
Keyword density isn't a primary focus today; instead, prioritize user-friendly, natural content that serves searcher intent.
 
Naaah, not working for me now a days.
But yes your conent intent should be rleated to your Primary Keyword.
