Well the title say pretty much everything .

for example : http://ga.me , Do you know if this domain is considered as an EMD ?
and will be easier to rank for keyword "game"

thanks for answers

cheers

No I wouldn't consider that an EMD. In terms of difficulty to rank, it will be the same as any other branded domain not containing any keywords.

it isnt, your keyword(s) should be in the body before the ext. eg, game.me, game.info, game.eu - you'll find all the single keyword domains are gone these days and you might want to consider adding extra words to your domain..

If you starting new, go for low competition keywords

Bronchit.is and Arthrit.is may sound like a keyword but it really isn't. So keywo.rd won't rank high for the "keyword" keyword but it can rank for "keywo"

Whether it's an EMD or not, that has nothing to do with ranking. A lot of people are misunderstanding this whole thing, so long as the links are quality domains, related and properly distributed among the anchor keywords and URL, EMD and non EMD will rank.

Forget this whole EMD thing. It's not worth it if you're not building a microniche site, which you shouldn't be doing these days anyway

When you are searching something on Google, google will count as a EMDs only web sites which domain name have that keyword inside, and domain name is something.tld , so the actually domain registar will not work in that way, although country associated domains will help you to rank better on a Google for that country, for example if you want to rank EMD which name is freegamesforpc.com ( this is just an example ) and you want to target UK audience, you can buy domain : freegamesforpc.co.uk and it will automatically be better ranked thank freegamesforpc.com on Google.co.uk, but i guess you already know that.

Have yet to see any success's with that strategy - but who knows what will happen in the coming year...
