Here's an article that every SEO will raise their eyebrows :(

I agree with SE Round Table's observation. I noticed that site's with EMD's and domain with more than 10 years, and with Google ads are favored.

I think it's amazing that there was clearly a big change in the SERPs and yet it is reported that Google denied there being any update. Something must have caused the fluctuations - it's been seen on a very large number of keywords.

Yeah I agree with that. This is new and this is not panda update which they have announced. It looks like a massive Google dance because Google denied the update.

Old news. It started probably 3 months back at least for my niches.

Seeing really big changes here, not for the best, one of my big branded sites has been totally knocked off the charts which really sucks.

Yeah. I noticed a change around that time too. Of course the big G denies anything.

Update: I noticed that amazon links are on the rise. For the last 2 years amazon links did not show up on those keywords and now 2 amazon links are in the first page and site's with ads are on the top.

I feel it is. On one particular keyword I was ranking 4-6 for a particular search term, in the last couple of days I've dropped down to 8-10. But this isn't due to the fact that any other sites in my niche have outranked me, instead 5 results from the company have bounced in front of me. There twitter account is now ranking above me and 3-4 different Youtube videos from their channel are also ranking above me. I cant understand how Google can assign 4 of the top 10 ranking spots to different videos produced by the company in question.
