If they are high quality, and everything you buy to increase social proof of your account is high quality then it can help you gain genuine followers. There is a lot of human psychology involved. If done right showing that you have a certain number of followers and half way interesting posts may get others to follow you.

If you're trying to grow a professional brand / personal brand. no.

In the long run buying followers will always kick you in the face and I wouldn't recommend it.

I did send 1000 followers to my personal twitter from a panel, but in a few weeks they were just gone. I guess that's not what you want..

No not really I've only buy fake followers (about 100) when starting an accounts to increase initial engagement and after I gain and additional 100 through seo I block the fake accounts. That's the only use i see in buying them any else is kind of detrimental.

The best followers you can get is via larger accounts retweeting you.

Why? Because there's no incentive for people to follow you. They follow you because they want to.

A shoutout doesn't bring in qualified followers as most of them will only be following because they've been asked to, by whichever account did the shoutout.

You can buy followers that are much more stable and dont drop much at all. Hard to find that on a panel though, unless you buy from the panel that i supply with followers

That said... of course its beneficial to buy followers. No, not so that you can promote to them, but for social proof. Social engineering. Trustworthiness. Appearing big and popular and legit. Call it what you will.

Buying followers doesnt replace organic growth, but it can sure help it A Lot.
