Is it worth to buy a monetized channel?

Hello guys, i want to start a channel but i would like to know if its worth to take the risk of buying an already monetized channel (most of them use bots and then get monetized)?
i want to make a legit channel for long term

From my experience, I'd say it's not safe. First time I got scammed and the second time I had a weird issue with the channel (the channel got locked because I changed the login info, I was unable to log into it). Luckily I got my money back but on the third time the channel I bought got demonetized without uploading anything there myself and later the channel was terminated.
 
Depending on whom you buy from, the account may get locked as soon as you login from a different IP
In this case, the other guy could easily recover the account using the registered number
 
If you want a legit channel for long term it tells me that you are serious about your Youtube business. So why take risk in the first place?

Start your own channel with own fresh useful content and stay away from any short term money making tactic. This is the formula to work on Youtube.

Remember the day you get banned or suspended is the worst day. You loose all the money and valuable TIME which is irrecoverable!

Keep patience, work hard and establish a good stable business in Youtube. That's my honest advice.

I wouldn't take any risks if I'm going to do long-term business. It is better to spend some time and do everything from scratch than to get into trouble with a purchased channel.
 
Monetized channel is a good investment if you don't have the time to stablish one yourself. 4k hours is not an easy tasks these days.
 
I have 19 monetized channels and bought all but one of them I bought. I have never had an issue with them but you do have a lot of scammers so make sure you use an escrow service to buy them. The real advantage is it can take a very long time to get 240,000 mins of watch time and even if you do think of all the work and money lost if you are getting that many views and not getting paid for it.
 
Only buy from a trusted source. Most people are selling with bot subs.
 
Do all the background check before buying such a channel. There is lot of scam going on related to it.

i've built several channels into brands that were already purchased as monetized.
nothing is unsafe about them if you know to secure them properly.
buy the channel through brand acc ownership transfer. so the channel will be owned by a mail you create.

in some exceptional cases the seller/owner can lie to youtube support about their channel being hacked and succeed with their request.

the botted subs and watchtime itself is not a problem as some people say.
you can build new audience on new niche and gain like a 100k extra subs.
now you have authority. the 1k dead botted subs has no effect long term.
this is already tested.
vietnamese guys keep monetizing channels and build farms

Did you purchase from someone on BHW? That sounds like you found a good source for accounts. I have always wanted to purchase a monetized account, but the risk seems too high for me.

And whenver I contact a seller, he shows me channels which are spammed. They pass review though but it is useless for me.

They were bought up over time but I do have a few good sellers but not from BHW. It depends on the type of channel you are buying. I have bought a few really big ones but most of them were just monetized with 1k to 3k subs and were only $300 to $500. I will often rebrand them. I know a lot of people say "it does no good because they subs are not real" but many of the cheaper channels the subs are real but even if not you can build your own subs but you can earn money while building them.

Most of your views on youtube do not come from subs. They come from search on youtube. Think about how often you want to know how to fix something and search for a video on youtube but you didnt subscribe to the persons channel. The subs do not mean much and you can always build your own. It is ranking the videos and earning while you are building up your library that was the key for me.
 
Avoid buying YouTube accounts if you are planning to run it for long
It can go sideways any time. Create your own channel and you'll be safe on the long term
