Is it worth switching from WordPress to Webflow in 2025?

I’ve been using WordPress, but recently started hearing a lot about Webflow. It seems like a solid option for designers and developers who want more flexibility without coding too much.

For those who’ve made the switch (or tried both), what’s your take? Is Webflow worth it, or does WordPress still hold the edge in terms of scalability, plugins, and SEO?

If you know tech part of web development /design (css/html etc) then webflow is better than wordpress page builders.
If you are fine with that then webflow is much better platform for creating visually stunning web design.
Elementor, the well known wordpress page builder is going downhill trying to sell hosting to its existing user base instead of improving its code base for faster sites. Their ai sucks. Wp astra team have abandoned their project and have moved on zipwp. Zipwp is a ai pagebuilder, its output design sucks too. Zipwp ai is in beta version and are trying to charge 399$ per year for 5+page sites. Its an overall disastor.
Plugins , scalablity, seo still WP.
 
Plugins and SEO are exactly why I still stick with WordPress !

But everything @IM said is true... you just have to know what you want to prioritize, whether it is flexibility in design or ease of implementation.
 
The WP stack is currently unbeatable, just for AI content generation, for example ...
 
Webflow is good at creating interesting ui and design but requires some tech knowledge of web development. It has a good potential but for now it's still easier to work with WordPress especially considering SEO.
 
I prefer WordPress, but I'm willing to hear what are the benefits of Webflow compared to WP
 
It depends on your needs! Webflow is great for design flexibility, speed, and a no-code approach, while WordPress offers more plugins, customization, and better scalability for complex sites. If you prioritize ease of use and modern design, Webflow is worth switching to in 2025. But for advanced features and SEO control, WordPress is still a strong choice.
 
I’ve tried both, and it really depends on your needs. Webflow is awesome for visual design and makes custom layouts easy, but WordPress wins on scalability, plugins, and SEO. If you need lots of third-party tools and flexibility, stick with WordPress. Personally, I think Webflow is great for simpler projects, but WordPress is still my go-to for anything bigger.
 
In terms of scalability, Drupal that can handle large website with tons of pages more efficiently, is a good alternative of WordPress. The disadvantage is that you have to know some PHP basic code
 
WordPress is free
Webflow needs subscription. Too bad
 
Webflow way more complicated than wordpress elementor. Everything is way more easy with elementor but if you want more complex projects then i can recommend webflow & framer !
 
It depends on your needs:

For Webflow
Great for designers who want visual control without deep coding. It offers clean code, builtin hosting, and animations but has fewer 3rd party integrations and a learning curve.

and for WordPress
More scalable with thousands of plugins, better for complex sites, and stronger SEO flexibility. Requires maintenance but offers more customization and control.
If you prioritize design freedom and a nocode approach then Webflow is solid. But for scalability, plugins, and SEO, WordPress still holds the edge.
 
What for honestly?
Is wordpress not working for what you need it to be?
if not, then switch to a platform that actually fits your needs.
If something is working, there is no real reason to take the risk and change.
