Better just buy in bulk or get them made for you. As said above, proxies, captcha solving, phone verification should be factored in.

if you have your hands on some good resources like mobile proxies and lots of PVA panel credit then yeah its nice to make your own. But then there is a learning curve to making good accounts. So you can make mistakes in the beginning and jeopardize what you are doing. So if your scale is so high that it is more cost effective to make them in the long run, then go for it. But if you afford to pay $1 per account for 1000s of accounts a month then that's fine too.
I hand make my own gmails that are on sensitive accounts and forward them to one email. 50 gmails forwarding to one gmail has worked for me. Done it for a while now.
