Is it worth my time?

I just checked on a website I havn't touched in about 3-4 months because my keywords were so highly competitive.

To my surprise:
keyword 1 -Page 9 of Google
Keyword 2- Page 5 of Google
Keyword 3- Page 3 of Google

The site has ~80 or so backlinks.

Even with these positive results, I've had little traffic, 1-14 visitors/day, and the keywords are still highly competitive.

I've moved on to other projects, but considering putting some work into this site again.

What are your opinions? Work on it or leave it alone?

Most people don't look past the first page,any preffic is prob coming from the one on page 3.It would make a good part time project adding quality links every so often will probably get you better progress over time.

Depends on competition above you and earnings per visitor.

Why not? If it doesn't take up too much of your time, and if it seems to have some momentum, why not go for page 1?

Only you can answer that, what is your time worth? are you making $500 a day, I dont know. Do research to see if the niche converts or not, how much, and then depending on your financial stature, decide weather its worth it ;p

If your broke and you've got nothing to do then sure go for it!

Is it worth your time? Well, sure if there's a high level of commerciality involved for ranking that KW. Don't bother ranking for traffic that is browsing traffic.
