Is it worth it.

Basically I have got access to a product in a few variations which gives a profit of between 5 USD and 40 USD a unit, and I do not require any stock. The exact EMD .com is available and has never registered. The competition is pages only as opposed to domains, (only a few people has got access to the products which may explain it.) My question pertains to the searches:

Broad 22000 720
Exact 210 16
Phrase 1000 36

The Pro's are:
1. Very little outlay in terms of money. (Domain name and a very basic e-commerce theme.)
2. Massive profit per unit per unit sold.
3. Relatively little competition. (Nothing a few Web 2.0's with a few blasts won't be able to compete with.)

The downside: The traffic is as above?

As I am fairly new to any black-hat methods, and IM in general, I'd like to hear your opinion?

110 local is a VERY low amount, but I would go for it. I mean what do you have to lose? A couple hours and maybe $7 for hosting?

Depending on how hot the product is, you are looking form .1% to 1% of visits will buy.

So if you get 210 visits, you may end up selling one or two. you need to ask if that is worth it.

OK, a few questions before I go to war:

1. Local, (see above), is for the United Kingdom. I want to go global. Besides having hosting in The States and telling Google it is a global site. Anything else I need to be aware off?

2. I'd rather not have anyone link the enterprise with me. Any tricks of the trade that I should know?

When I have done tings like this I have gotten a 1% max conversion, but it may just be that I am not the best at it.

What is the intent of the searcher who searches for this keyword?

If it is to gather information, don't do it.

If it is to locate a product, or investigate a product, maybe do it.

If it is to buy a product, definitely do it.

If you do it and only have a few sales a month, you will have a small revenue stream. You shuld be able to find,with proper keyword research, complementary products or keywords to target to drive up traffic and sales that you can use on the same site.

Second, it will give you invaluable experience that will payoff in the long run.

Third, once it is built it may make money (albeit a little at a time) for a very long time.

Forth, if you don't use it give it to me!

i love maths and maths says, 1 conversion a month will pay for the hosting and anything else is profit.
