Is it Worth it?

I noticed that web directories have a great PR even tho' they do not update often.
So that gave me an idea to mirror one of those, spin articles a bit and reupload it.
Than i would Rapid index it using SB and let google make it's magic.
When the site gets its traffic and pr i would monetize it Adsense+CPA
So what do you guys think is it plausable?

I'm not very knowledgable in SEO, but I feel like search engines would see what your doing from a mile away. The biggest thing that I'm wondering is how you would mimic the social signals and traffic activity that naturally takes place from people submitting articles all day.

I don't think its worth it. Sooner or later, you will get penalized. If you decide to proof read the spun articles, it might actually be more work than just writing them from scratch.

Not worth it, they'll get you within a few months.
