Those are third party metrics, so even if its low it doesn't matter. Check the site is legit, quality of backlinks and relevancy, if all good then its good to go.

Check the backlinks profile of the site, those links should be quality one and from relevant sites. Also check the referring domains diversity.
Check the content are they unique and relevant, and the quality of traffic they get.

yes, if you are getting a do-follow backlinks and the website is good design and navigation structure then it is very good to do back link,.
