is it worth it to buy SEO courses?

No, you can find plenty of them for free in BHW download section.

if you want to know basic then buy . but these basic knowledge you can know form google . If you want to know practical seo then search in BHW forum.

You can't learn SEO by buying any cource. Instead, you should start with experimenting things on sites and you are on one of the best SEO forums so ask people if you need any help somewhere.

I took this course on Udemy.com called: SEO for SEO Beginners for FREE! Of course it had a lot of useless information and they tend to repeat themselves a LOT, but it is free and it can give you a kickstart to learn new things.

Be mindful of the fact that most 'SEO guides' are geared towards selling the reader something. The more guides you read the more you'll realize they are all pretty much saying the same thing, just in a different way somehow.

Paid courses are worth it... for the guy charging the fee's.
There probably IS out there in the vast ocean of crap advice and gurus a course that is actually good... but good luck finding it. You're better off just starting with a book off Amazon and then reading up on the forums.
