Is it worth going into the dating niche in these times?

As I am in that niche, I would say "don't go as it will be less competition for me" 
But talking in general, I see that niche as really competitive, but what I like about it is that there are many revenue sharing affiliate partneships, so it can help grow to some cash flow for some periods instead of one time shots.

It's quite a competitive niche so you better have a unique twist
But yes. I'm in that niche and I think it's worth it during these times, or any time for that matter. It's an evergreen niche.
ok, you promote dating products or do own e-books or a combo?

yes its totally worth it since many people stuck at home would want some-one new in their lives.

I am into this niche right now for the past year, a lot of registrations, almost no payins ... People come, chat, and write "message me on ... phone, email etc.. " Not sure how big websites earn really good.
I am targeting a specific group, as the general market is very competitive.
Even in the corona time, people are willing to save money, as they don"t have a job, so ist hard.

I use Dating Factory mostly, so earnings depend on site and market. Also I started one site with White Label Dating, but still have no earnings.
On top of that, I think Badoo has revenue share affiliate.
