Is it worth following Google Adsense Scorecard recommendations?

When you're on the Adsense home page (I'm using the old version) and look towards the bottom right, there's a section called Google Scorecard. It displays Revenue Optimization, Site Health, and Google+ stats. Is this thing ever accurate, and should I pay any attention to it?

It tells me to diversify my ads with Text/Image for better revenue. I have, I always have... don't understand this. I've always simply ignored it.

It also tells me to upgrade speed performance for my sites, which I have for some pages but still have to do for others, so that's something I will have to look into further.

But what got me to post this thread is the last section, Google+. It remained excellent (4/5 dots) up until sometime last week. It's currently at 1/5 dots and I have no idea why. It says to place Google+ buttons on my sites... the only problem is, all of my sites already have them in place.

Should I even pay attention to this? Maybe I'm just overreacting after I optimized my site last week for speed and my earnings have dropped since. It feels like I'm going backward when moving forward.

All that scorecard thing is pure BS. It changes for me literally every day. One day revenue optimization will be 5 and the next 1 or 2 when I never changed a thing. Some days it has that Google +1 thing at 5, when I NEVER put Google +1's on my blogs. I don't follow it anymore at all.

I have noticed same that it changes a lot every other day. Would it be helpful to follow the advices, I think that in overall it would be (when its not just fluctuating) as having Google + on your site and keeping the page load time good should help for the rankings. In your case you seem to have everything already in place so I wouldn't put too much attention on the scorecards.

Funny, I just checked it again and my ratings are all up again. The icing on the cake is that it seems they removed the Google+ section completely because it no longer shows up for me anymore. Oh Google...
