Hello,

I would like to know if its really featuring a gig on gigbucks?
What is your exp?
I know its ultimately the quality of the service that brings in good number of sales. But would like to know if its really worth the money to feature a gig there...

Regards

stay away from them, if i can remember well there's already more than one shitlist thread about them

yup, i found them:

https://www.google.com/search?name=f&hl=en&q=gigbucks+scam

if i'd like to provoke an argument with clone owners, i'd say something like this: "stick with fiverr, clones just don't worth the hassle", but i don't say it :)

oops, I will stay away... but fiverr seems too hard for me. I posted gigs and I received 0 sales so far. I think I need to promote my fiverr gigs outside but pretty confused about how fiverr works..

I havent had any business there. Doesnt seem to have the traffic that fiverr and tenrr do.

Hi,

It's like you've said, the success of any gig listing whether it is featured or not greatly depends on the quality of the gig. Featuring it will simply put it in front of many more people and that's what you pay for.

I am the admin of Gigbucks, we purchased the website in November 2010 on Flippa. We are aware that the previous owner has left quite a few sellers unpaid which is not the way we run the site now.

Quite a lot of money has been invested in the site, buying traffic and we've also hired a two full time support and accounting staff to make sure things run smoothly. There are a lot of new features in the pipeline and the times of not paying sellers are over and gone with the previous owners.

So far it's been going really well and while I apologize for things that have happened in the past (before we had control over it); now would be a good time to give Gigbucks another shot and see for yourself that the site is run in a professional manner, does more sales than ever and nobody goes unpaid.

I am available for questions and comments through PM

maybe I'm throwing money away, but I've added my gigs to gigbucks and made one of them featured. We'll see if they deserve a new reputation or not...

gigbucks SUCKS use fiverr its so much better and has people with money :)

Just let everyone know, I just got paid by Gigbucks ($20). Requested payout and received the full amount into my Paypal account within 24 hours. Fiverr would take the Paypal fees out, but Gigbucks don't seem to.

perhaps the site has turned a corner?

I have used and sold on both gigbucks and fiverr without any major issues at all.
Been on both sites for well over a year and had decent success without a lot of work.

So I can honestly say that both have worked well for me personally.
The only thing I did not like with gigbucks is when they moved their entire site over to a new system and required that every user create a new account and recreate all of their gigs over again...That sucked because I lost my feedback and had to restart over again from scratch which I didnt like to much but in reality that really isnt a huge negative in their service it just means they didnt have the means to do a sitewide transfer properly or they were just being lazy...

Hello. Good to see that you are posting here. Unfortunately, you guys seem to be getting as paranoid as Fiverr when it comes to approving gigs and also in terms of personal communications. I'm not exactly what's going on. I tried posting the exact sme gig that I have on Fiverr (I changed a few things to make it specific to Gigbucks), but my gig has been rejected TWICE. Fiverr accepted the video. Why not Gigbucks? I contacted customer service and they told me what to change and I did, but then they just rejected my gig again. Guys, this is getting a little frustrating. I don't have the time to continually be making changes. My gig has so far earned me well over $1,500 on Fiverr BUT I WANT MORE! So, either you guys loosen up a little or I'll take my business to some other clone. I don't mean to be rude, but time is the only thing I won't ever get back. Fiverr's policies are most definitely annoying, but they are the King so I have to live with it. Gigbucks has been sending me emails for months so I decided to give you a try, but this annoying/time wasting/ vague and somewhat insulting back and forth is starting to wear on my nerves. Please don't turn into a complete Fiverr clone. Loosen up a little and I think you'll earn more loyalty. I think you should definitely skip the Fiverr micro-management schtick, but what do I know.

gigbucks is sucks. They will terminate your account or never approve your gigs by some stupid reasons.

i think they are ok,i joined last month and have made $68 so far, though you may not get as many orders like fiverr. just get one of your gigs featured.

As other people are suggesting; STAY WELL AWAY!

They have already scammed me!

Also there site always takes ages to load for me.

I read for the first time that gigbucks is scamming. Well, I am very Happy with fiverr.

Thanks for the sharing guys.
