Is it worth buying shoutouts?

Hello guys, I have few questions about the shoutouts and Instagram in general.

1 - Is it worth buying a shoutout? If the page is with real followers and everyhing seems legit.
2 - Is it better to buy cheaper shoutout from page with let's say 50k followers, or buy from big pages with over 100-200k.
3 - Is it worth investing money in Instagram and If you had 500 dollars willing to invest, how would you do it (invest in your Instagram page).
4 - What's the best amount of followers to start monetizing.

1. Yes, it can be worth while to buy a shoutout. Make sure you know who you're dealing with and they won't scum you out of your money. Also do some checks to see if the account is active or not. Keep in mind that 5%-10% activity is key and also see how many comments are made. Basically, just make sure you don't get ripped off and shouted out to a bunch of bought followers/likes.

2. It's all about engagement and who will see the shoutout. Regardless, you will still spend money. If you pay for a $10 shoutout from a 50k page with 5,000 likes, it will be the same as spending $20 to buy a shoutout from a 100k page with 10,000 likes you know what I'm saying? It's personal preference to be honest and who you're willing to spend money on.

3. Yes, it can be worth it to invest in Instagram if you know what you're doing. Buying a bot, setting everything up or buying captions/shoutouts from related niche accounts is a good way to start your journey. Again, make sure you know what you're doing and talk to some people. It is a big thing to get in to so make sure you're doing it right.

4. Depending on the niche, I would say you should start monetizing when you have a decent audience. This could be anywhere from 7,000-20,000 followers depending on your niche and your activity rates.

Summing your question up, of course - I know of a variety of people who buy shoutouts on Instagram. Some of them can be costy though. I ran into some accounts that I was interested in buying a shoutout from and some prices could be sorta high depending on the account and everything else but I initially would start at a low cost rate instead and test the waters before diving into something that may or may not work out for the top results.

It depends, if you are making money from "new followers you gain" then yes, keep buying shoutouts while the new followers earn you $$, and keep repeating to build big account.

But, if you aren't making any $ with your account, then hell no it ain't worth $20-$50 shoutouts just to gain XX-XXX followers.

$500 isn't going to make your IG account. If I were you I'd invest that into something that will yield 5 or 6k

Then invest that into your IG.

Selling shout outs wise: A good rule of thumb is you can charge $10/ average 1k likes/photo.

Buying shout outs: Buy in bulk. Cheaper prices

7500 is the following limit, right? I cannot follow more than 3200 at the moment, I guess there are lots of "requested", which are not answered..

1. It can be very worth it if you're pushing the traffic to your ECommerce/money site.
2. It really depends. Try both! see what's more impactful for you.
3. If I hd 500$ to invest, I'd make sure i'm doing more than one thing. Coming up with fresh content, hitting the top/trending tags for your niche regularly, automation like Instagress, MP, or FL, collaborating with other pages within your niche, and doing paid shoutouts is ah healthy combo for good growth.
4. In my opinion, the best amount of followers to start monetizing is 100k. I first started selling shoutouts on my 100k fitness page.. made $300 my first day, and $6,000 my first month.

It really helps to be a member on shoutout sites like IG Shoutouts.
