I own this Blog that gets about 30k -40k views per month it makes me barely nothing in adsense.

Domain will help you to get the blog established as a brand. It depends on what the blog is all about. I guess it is a wallpaper blog(Am I right).

No, don't get a domain. It will change all your URL structures and you could lose rankings. SEO-wise there is no benefit. People say blogspots are not secure because they can shut down your account at any time so you don't have full control. The same is true with your domain registrar and host: they can shut down your accounts at any time. Stick with you blogspot and look for different monetization methods. There are a few people around here who do well in the gaming niche so you might want to seek them out.

With that sort of traffic and niche, I would suggest trying out CPA offers.
Maybe run a poll like:
"which game are you looking forward to most in 2012. Vote now with a chance to win an *CPA offer* now!" something along those lines.
