Is it worth building links on these sites?

Hello everyone. I've been compiling a list of .edu sites that allow do-follow links on forum profiles.

I was wondering if they are worth building links to because:

1. They are on subdomains (X.university.edu)
2. They don't allow anchor text, just the URL.

Yes absolutely. First off a link is a link. So any link is better then no link, most generally speaking.

Second even if they weren't .edu links they are still worth getting even if its a .com .edu is even better and if its **************** thats even better.

Anchor is always ideal, but even without it it still worth the link.

This is all speaking of course assuming time is no issue for you. Whether or not its worth you doing this if you have to skip it for doing something else.. well that is the real question, and the answer is probably not.
