Is it worth building FB page currently?

Hey,

I am using FB advertisement to promote one of my niche website. It it worth focusing on building likes as well? That would require focusing on quality content for the page, posting engaging photos,etc.

Current situation is a bit of a mess with FB and the people reporting clickbait penalties, low reach and overall terrible results.

What would you recommend?

If you developing just for your niche site, there will not be any issue. Do not spam it with irrelevant links.

Thanks for the replies. What I'm trying to avoid is collecting likes to then discover that it won't bring people back to my website organically because of a terrible reach.

Anyone experiencing descent reach with a quality content?

Stick on it. It is good that facebook is banning those clickbait pages. After the cleaning, i think fb monetization will bump again.

I also believe that after cleaning up, legit publishers will have less competition and more reach, but the key is keeping your followers happy with descent content.

Give Facebook a few weeks more. With what I've observed, it would take some time to finish the clean-up.

If you are a risk taker, then go on with it. You just have to work doubly hard, which defeats the purpose of the ads.
