So I just got my first video deleted.

"This following video was found in Violation of TOU #4 Section H........"

It's almost a badge of honor this, but anyway, if I was to appeal, how would YOU appeal it?

Or not at all? I wouldn't wanna make things worse.

I'm guilty as sin btw, I used Aquarius' "Green Socials" view bots service from the marketplace, but if there's a chance I could get the video back (I've spent a lot of money on backlinking it), then I will.

Edit: BTW, this is the form you fill out with the questions they ask you: https://support.google.com/youtube/contact/tou_removal_appeal

What would you say?

Trust me it's not worth appealing. They won't bring back your video, you'll end up wasting time replying to them.

Honestly I wouldn't bother appealing the decision. You tried to cheat the system and you got caught. Accept and move on

You never know. One of the questions asks you to give the name of your view source. They may reward you :)

As an update/announcement, it turns out YouTube did a cleanup yesterday Jan 30th to remove spammy looking vids.

But there has also been some false removals where legit videos got wrongfully deleted too.

Man YT are turning into Nazis.

Fuck it, I'm appealing. Apart from the views, the video was totally whitehat.

The end of botting youtube views is upon us O.O

All you can hear is the sound of black hat botters tears going into jars so they can collect
and sell the water for there monthly income they no longer have coming in.

All jokes aside this is a very dark day in youtube history.

YT will never overturn their decision of removing a vid...it's a total waste of time appealing! Just reupload it on a new account

I've had a video put back in the past, it was 2 spammy Animoto videos that someone flagged, but I appealed and got one back.

But as for this video, it's not a throwaway channel, it's my main business channel which apart from the views, likes, subs & backlinks, I run whitehat.

Not much left promotion wise, haha! That gave me a nice little chuckle :)

Anyways, let us know how it turns out.

Well I just got the answer, and the appeal was rejected. Oh well. The douche who sent the views is in serious denial mode about this, accusing me of faking the stats to get him. The best I got out of him is that he'll tell the guy who provides him the scripts, which basically means nothing with happen on his end. To shitlist or not to shitlist? That is the question.

If he is not accepting his/her responsibility on his/her own shit -> Shitlist

.
How do you know this?

I would like to just point out that I have appealed 2 deleted videos and had them re instated and monetised within 2 weeks of apeal. They are not evil, not "nazi's" they are a business, business tries to make money and deliver a service. If you feel you have the right to, appeal.

What were they deleted for?
