Can Instagram detect reposted content and if so how?
Wondering cause heard that some people are getting shadowbanned for reposting.

Yes, this is true. If you are reposing an image or anything, Instagram can detect the pixels. Every image has a certain amount of pixels and every pixel has a specific value. So, it is detectable.

A trick: You could use Photoshop to trick IG into not knowing that what you are posting has already been posted. Nonetheless, it is still risky. You could get shadow banned.

And if I take for example 4 videos to repost and merge them to one video and add my sound does it still be reposting?

Reposting content from my previous account (thanks Zuck) into the new one and all I get is 1 like per post (currently at 7)

months before on the same account with 19 followers I tested a different brand with the same niche just with a minimal design and man I thought it wasn’t a lot, but compared to the current page it’s a joke. Had a solid 5+ (sometimes double digits) on 12 posts each

current content is the same PNG file and the same MP4’s and ain’t getting shyt

They either randomly give you a rank in the algorithm or they’re fvcking with us

can’t really tell you without testing with someone simultaneously or having a fresh device with a fresh email/SIM.

Best bet is doing it yourself since you can’t really judge by someone else’s history and pst account use but I’ll let you know ASAP my own results in case you’ll wonder

First account in this niche (the one I’m “migrating” right now) have been stalling on the upper tens but still grew by little

I guess Meta is ‘Meta in Hebrew’ for me

Thing is, IG doesn’t look like they’re having a deal with reposted content on thousands of daily fresh accounts + they have no problem with the same reel reposted hundreds of times on the same page so go figure

They can detect it but how much they care idk. I hear the same thing but then look at like celebrity fan pages and stuff they are all posting the same content over and over again and nothing seems to happen

Yeh instagram can detect that so if you're posting photos or videos then edit that apply some filters to prevent the issue.

It can detect it, besides changing your content pixel wise also look to change the MD5

In short yes, but that doesn't prevent your posts from still going viral

they detect file size, pixel count, audio, number of x posted .
