I have heard the duckduckgo is secretly associated with amazon either as an affiliate or subsidary of some sort? Anyone know anything about this?

And from where you have heard this about DuckDuckGo. Or may be Amazon is paying to get Data, Rite now only data matters.

As far as I know they are just an affiliate.
So, when you click an Amazon link on DuckDuckGo and make a purchase, DuckDuckGo gets paid.

How do you guys even get info like this.. Some dark web sh*t going on here. :D

Maybe they use AWS? Just guessing. The founder has a bit of a shady history selling user data, so I don't really trust it.

Aha, wow that is genius actually. They are raking in the cash like that. Brave Browser did the same thing basically and they were castrated from the privacy community, but why not DDG? Still don't trust it.

I worked for a company doing their SEO. I ranked them #1 for "insole" etc and they went from 20 mill a year to just under 60. Amazons botZ picked up the gross and calculated that against the return/chargeback rate and quickly cloned out the product down the the color. THEN, Amazon pushed the real product/company (my client) DOWN in the Amazon SERPS. Suffocated and starved them out. If you use them and actually succeed, their bots will pick it up and deliver it to the "liquidation" team. Now eh hem, its not that people love Amazon so much, that is going to produce the world's first trillionaire, its vicious business practices. SO, I would not put it past them.
