Is it true that age is a measure of wisdom? Have you gotten wiser than you were previously because you got older?

Is it true that wisdom comes with age? NO

There's plenty of old people that have only doubled down on their foolishness instead of getting wise.

I believe I've gained some wisdom over the years, but it's not simply because I've gotten older.
It's has more to do with introspection, reading, listening, thinking, willingness to learn, willingness to accept that you were wrong, etc.

I still consider myself a dumbass, though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe, I´ll tell you as soon as I remember. Ohh, no I remember, sure I got wiser by age and the years passing with experience. Good, or bad I have no clue since I can only judge by my wisdom in my reality. So others might not agree with my thoughts.

Story number 2 BREAD.

So one time me n the wife are in the super market AGAIN
and i see the wife helping an old lady , she couldnt reach the bread
so the wife got her down a loaf from the shelf................

Me being me, i walk upto my wife and look at her and the old lady
and without even a pause i said to my wife, are bother the old
people again, the old ladys face dropped. i walked away chuckling

I def think yes. Not all old people are wise though, but from a personal perspective, I am definity wiser than myself 10 years ago.

To clarify, I don't mean intelligence, I don't think I am smarter than before, just that the way I look at things are a clearer than before.

No. Life experiences is what teaches us a lot. Even war razed children know better than some old fools sitting in their offices.

You know, that chicken brand from tesco is the one that gives me chills...

As a once poor student I used to microwave the entire chicken.

Yep, slap it on a plate and pop it in. Set for maximum time, 45 minutes and then 15 more...

Barely fit if i got the extra large ones.
