It is good for income diversification, and for some big websites it is a main strategy...

It can be, but as there is a lot of competition there and a bunch of different products, you could also start thinking about finding some other affiliate network that will allow you to gain more profit and find more suitable offers.

It is not worth it.
The commissions are too low; besides, Jeff Beszos can change TOS at anytime. He has already done that many times before. That makes Amazon too unreliable.
You should join my affiliate program instead.

Amazon Affiliate is one of the easiest program. You need a proper medium where you'll show or talk about the goods but it's required to have a place which will be a common platform for you and your visitors. They can be a little tricky to deal with sometimes, but there are a ton of products, commission are often great.
