PBNs used to be the backbone of Black Hat SEO. With AI detection and penalties getting stricter, is it still worth building them with automation tools, or is it dead money now?

I am using gsa ser with niche websites. They are not pbns as I monetization those sites and not connecting each. So these are not pbns however I do use only ai automation for content and link building automation done by gsa ser + xevil . So yes you can use it either as pbns or money sites

PBNs can still bring results in certain niches, but they are become much risky. With Google advanced AI detection and stricter penalties, it is usually smarter to focus on earning genuine, high quality backlinks rather than relying on automated networks.

With Google’s AI updates and smarter link analysis, I’m wondering if it’s still worth running PBNs using automation tools or has the risk now outweighed the results?

I think PBNs are pretty risky now with stricter penalties and AI detection, so using automation tools might not be worth it anymore.

if you treat each site in your PBN as a money site and vary things up they are untouchable. If you use tools to create 100s of new sites it will be overwhelming and you won't be able to keep track. Quality over quantity, a few quality sites that you control will be more powerful than 1000 automated shit sites.

They can still help rankings, but Google’s getting better at spotting low-quality ones.

Tools can build links fast, but quantity matters more than quality now - automated PBNs often fail.

Given AI detection and harsher penalties, PBNs have become very risky and can quickly harm rankings or get deindexed.
Spending resources on them now is usually wasted; building authentic, high-quality backlinks is a safer approach.

Currently automated PBNs are too risky. Manual, high-quality PBNs are still viable if done thoroughly.
