Is it still worth running Facebook groups for business?

Groups are still a good place to build an audience, but you shouldn't focus too much on one option, but rather focus on many places. You should take advantage of and exploit multimedia and multi-form information.

Groups can still be valuable for building a loyal audience, but combining them with Pages and Reels often gives better reach and engagement.

I just saw Brandon Carter (top 1% influencer fitness) fb page he has over 1.6m followers and he used to have HUGE hits on facebook, I suggest u to take a look on his page, he has 1-5 likes per post if at all... this guy gone thro Page decline of engagement.

Me myself, i have dozen of fb groups, some perform better some dont, members keep gettin in and i also ask them to opt into my lists with email or phone or join the whatsapp group, that way i keep it all alive all of the time, it does takes time. This year i first made 100$ thro JV with 1 sale thro landing page and closed a deal (it is a car brand fb group with over 13k members).

I mean, its good pool for audience that is into a niche and looking for something specifically, i also has ig fb group etc they look for f2f and growth products.

IT IS TIME CONSUMING TO HANDLE IT, so take that in account. Some making couple of thousands and some making more. Alot of smart fellows in these line ;)

Groups can still work, but they need active moderation and unique value. If that’s too much, focusing on reels and pages where algorithms favor new content might bring faster growth.

Group engagement seems lower than before. Are groups still a good way to build an audience or better to focus on pages and reels?
Groups can still work, but they’re not as strong as before. Pages and reels usually reach more people now, so it’s better to focus there while keeping your group for loyal followers.

It's true group engagement has shifted. Groups still work well for nurturing a dedicated community. For reaching new audiences, short-form video currently shows better results. Consider using both for different objectives.

Groups can still work if you build a niche community, but it takes consistent effort.

Groups still work if you keep engagement real and consistent but yeah, reels and pages get way more reach now

It is clear that Meta’s visibility priority has shifted to Pages and especially Reels, causing group engagement to decline sharply and reach to be less than before. If you want to grow quickly, you need to focus on these formats as they offer superior visibility and virality.

It really depends on how active the community is. Facebook groups still have potential if you focus on discussions and value rather than just promotions.

Groups can still work if you keep them active and personal but they are not as powerful as before Pages and Reels reach more new people while Groups are better for community and deeper connections

The engagement is lower than before, but if your team has a long history then those are the long term customers who help promote your brand. You can work alternately combining pages and reels

It is advisable to focus on providing valuable content and engaging with your audience while utilizing groups to enhance your overall presence

Groups are now good for keeping communities alive, while Pages and Reels are more effective for increasing reach and attracting new people.

Groups still work but they don't reach as many people as they used to. Pages and reels often get more engagement faster

I totally agree group engagement isn’t what it used to be even with consistent posts the interaction feels low lately I’ve also started focusing more on pages and reels since they seem to bring better visibility and growth overall
