According to some posts I’ve read, there’s been a loss of over 60%, people aren’t visiting websites anymore, and pretty soon websites won't be used at all. They say the AdSense model might only remain a good market for YouTube. What are your thoughts?"

Of course, it’s still possible to make money with AdSense. I’m still earning a decent income from my blogs, although my earnings have declined significantly compared to the past.

Yes its still possible to make money with AdSense but relying only on informational Google traffic is becoming riskier focus on higher value content diversified traffic sources and additional monetization methods instead of depending on AdSense alone.

I see more issues related to getting traffic. Do you think it makes sense to drive traffic from social media or do arbitrage?

Driving traffic to websites, especially from Google search, has become incredibly difficult for information sites. Most Adsense monetized sites are information websites. Those sites were hard hit by the AI overview. Many people now solely rely on AI for such information. But you can still use platforms like Pinterest to drive traffic to your site. If you're able to drive traffic to your site, Adsense would always work. Though I won't recommend Adsense, there are better platforms like Mediavine.

The revenue and profit has reduced for people working with adsense. But still you can make passive money with it if you put consistent efforts with your blog.

Generic content sites are definitely hurting, but saying websites are dead is a bit of a stretch. It’s just not as easy as it used to be—you actually need solid user engagement now and better monetization setups beyond standard banners.

It's possible to make money with AdSense, but due to LLMs gaining popularity you may not get enough traffic as you previously had been doing.

Of course! Just make sure to keep an eye on your content and ad placements to avoid running afoul of Google AdSense policy. Any violations could easily lead to heavy revenue deductions.
