Is it still possible to buy accounts?

Practically the entire marketplace is locked, 123accs now has a waiting list, and buyaccs is more than confirmed to be unreliable.

Is that the end of that? Do we all have to sit on our hands and wait for accounts to warm up by idling them all for months now?

Not sure what happened, but last time I clicked the marketplace there was nothing but a row of locked topics and last post by Apricots all over the place. Now it seems that none of these are in sight.
Either something happened after I posted this, or, another theory that I'm not discounting - I'm not a very smart man.
