The passwords are stored encrypted, so it depends on the strength of your master password. There are multiple types of attacks that can be used to decrypt a password database such as dictionary attacks or plain brute force, especially since the encryption algorithm is open source and known. Just don't put any passwords in there that you don't want compromised.
Also, decryption is not the only method your passwords can be stolen. Other methods can be trojans and other types of viruses.

spoofing can give hackers access to most password vaults so i wouldnt say its bullet proof

Yes, use 2-factor authentication (2FA) whenever available. This is the current best practice.
What 2-factor authentication typically does for you is, after you input the correct password, they will send a text message to your mobile device to FURTHER confirm your identity. If someone cracks your password but does not also own your phone, they will not be able to access your account. Thus, they need "two factors" (the password and the phone). This can also be done with email instead of a phone, but it depends on the service provider providing that option.
