Is it really necessary to put our backlinks into rss feeds?

I tried testing this by putting 100 profile links into the free version of linklicious, to create rss feeds of the profiles. I left them for two weeks, and not one of them had been crawled. So two weeks later, I put the linklicious 302 redirect urls into pingfarm, and 30 minutes later I checked linklicious and every single redirect url had been crawled.

So it doesn't seem like the rss feeds had any effect in getting google to find my links, or did they?

this is one problem with BH methods one person swears they work another says not useful ?

RSS feeds are not a good way of getting google to find you links, pinging them is. With the paid version of linklicious we ping the links AND the feeds and get them crawled at %100

We say this on the home page and even have charts :)
