So I am going to be launching my website soon, and I want to implement a fair amount of SEO. Since BHW offers a ton of resources, I have a list of over 10k wikis. Although I'm sure most are defunct, 1k legitimately working wikis are definitely valuable.

I plan on writing 10 quality articles, and I want to post them on all the possible wikis. Is this overkill, or will Google think I'm spamming my content if I post all 10 articles on every single possible wiki?

Are there any problems with this particular strategy? Should I not do every possible wiki? What are the possible benefits?

Thanks guys! As you can tell, I'm still relatively new to this.

oh wow, you make sure your wikis are unique from each other? i have a list of over 100k, that would take forever!

anyway, i may go with your advice of only sticking with EDUs and maybe govt wikis.

Blasting to 10k site will not only be unfruitful but can get you penalized.

Stick with a few hundred and diversify your links, spin your content properly and you will be fine.

im just curious, why would i get penalized if i blast a ton of wikis? if i start off my seo campaign with wiki blasts, it couldnt really affect my site ranking, which is non-existant right now.

lastly, should i focus on .edu and govt wikis if i decide not to blast all the wikis on my list?

You can earn a unnatural linking penalty, and if you focus on those types of links only, your lack of link diversity will get you.

I do drip feed wiki blast for my clients like 100 to 200 wiki links daily and it has helped tremendously for many of my clients.
