Is it possible

Hi friends , i have a question in mind regarding an affiliate commission . If a customer instead of going to the affiliate link purchases directly from us , i,e sends us the payment and then we go the concerned website and buy through our affiliate link , and enter the customers information , will i get any commission for that . After all the customer is getting his product , the website is getting a sale , so shall i be also eligible for a commission?

but i have read many affiliate terms and conditions but did not find anything related to this type of sale being illegal ?

and how will they come to know that someone else has ordered ?
