I use deepl and grammarly to write original posts in English, can I get traffic to my website and make money this way?
Or is it a matter of writing in my native language?

There are tons of nuances that you just can’t match unless you have lived here. So you could do it, but within a minute we would be able to tell. Foreign writers tend to be either wayyyy too formal or use a cringeworthy amount of slang.
I do copywriting on the side, I’d be happy to take a look at your writing and let you know my thoughts and tips.

Make sure you don't use content from big non-English language media firms because you might get SUED.

Translated content is still derivative content under copyright law and is protected against 'infringment'

The better solution is to become a DICTATION BLOGGER

Just talk into a voice recorder, get it transcribed and formatted, plug into a RANKMATH-powered WP blog and you're good to go!

Yes you can.
I've been doing this for years.

Well my point of view is, you may get traffic from this, if you're just focusing on impressions/clicks but you will get stress on converting them into customers doing some CPA, Sales, Lead Generation etc

Translating content will work good but you need to more aware while translating. Translated content will have lower value words. Content words are not good quality. You have to check those words, terminology. There is a risk that your meaning is not fully understood by the visitor or translator. Make a sure of using some stylish attractive quality words in translated language.

Yes.. You can do it. If it is your original content translate it else translate and spin it...

If I understand that correctly - you are trying to translate content in Non-english language to English using some tool and use that content on your website. Is that correct. If so, then do you have permission to copy and translate content from the original author? If not then better do it first. Using translated content without consent is a form of plagiarism and Google is know to take down such sites from its SERPs.

You can take an article and use a tool similar to https://wordai.com/ and rewrite it completely so it will end up unique. However, it is working but not moral as you are still using someone's work to do that.

You can translate and then rewrite them. Just make sure to check on plagiarism tools.

I want to do the same, but in reverse lol ... Looking to get ranked for German and Spanish articles . My advise to you is, just do it ! You will never know until you try . Before I started blogging I never noticed how terribly written some of the top articles on Gooogle are. Now that I pay close attention,I am in shock how people get away with such writing! So many top articles with grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, poor punctuation etc ... I am not saying that you don't need to put in the effort, but I am saying don't beat yourself up if it's not perfect it might just surprise you. Make sure you are using less competitive keywords and you should be good to go. Small paragraphs, bullet points, numbering - people online are just looking to skim though articles , they are not there to digest a 2,000-word article.

You can write in your native language. There are ranked sites with different languages that show up in google search
