Hi all, I have a site that was previously ranked #1 for our main search term which has high competition (135k global monthly searches). Since Panda I have slipped down to 4/5th spot. The sites above me are as follows; 1st & 2nd spot Big 'brand' in our industry ranking in top spot with their home page and also second spot for a url string that contains key term. 3rd Spot A comparison site with a url string made up of /key-term/keyword Please suggest techniques I could use to reclaim 1st or 2nd spot. I am probably not as bright as your guys so if you could dumb down your explanations and suggestions it would be much appreciated. Cheers Karl
Google obviously values their sites higher than yours. Generally it's due to links, more and/or higher quality. It's not possible to "steal" it back, but you can work hard or pay to have high quality link building done.
