Is it possible to send mass sms messages?

Just curious, I thought I could use gmail classic chat to send mass SMS but I no longer have that LAB for some reason.
No luck in my searches for mass text sending or mass calling.

Is this even possible to do without purchasing some kind of telemarketing software?

nope. its not possible... unless you find a trick to send via emails :)

Hey man, there's various ways to send mass texting. Do you have the numbers already set in a database? Various websites like EZTexting do it. I found this other website though, much cheaper zoommitt

I use mass texting for my dayjob company, for stock trading signals. i think we use eztext but ill have to check. You can send as many as you want, obviously for a fee. The company i work with does only US numbers though.
 
Theres lots of sms marketing companys out there from what I remember they are not cheap.
 
Funny OP. I recently did a SMS campaign using my owm SIM. Managed to spam out 8000 SMS before it got blocked. Lame but worth the test.

Free bulk sms program no strings attached..I have tried to get it working, but you need to have port 25 unblocked, and maybe also 465 I had lots of problem getting the smtp settings to work.. actually I never did succeed. I even had it running on a vps in holland but no luck

Great program, but I think I lack the techy Info.

Anyone who does get it going.. kindly pm me or skype gazinbali
