Is it possible to rank high in serp without using backlinks

Hello i just started with seo for my websites was just curious if anyone has ranked high on first page with just using organic white hat seo. (on page seo etc)

Without any boost up links you can't get rank on first page.. But sure you can get ranking on Google by using On Page SEO.

It all depends on what kind of keywords are you targeting. For a high competition keyword you are probably not going success ranking up without backlinks.
But for example for your unique brand name with low competition you can easily get first positions without any off-page effort.

More than likely you will not be able to achieve your goals. Consistent, relevant backlinks underpins all SEO campaigns and should be part of yours once on page and content is sorted out.

short answer is yes, but if you are in a competitive niche, you cant rank strong keywords without good backlinks, for very weak ones, here and there, you may rank some, but dont expect much.

You throw hundreds of thousands articles in a site and expect you can get several hundreds IPs per day

And if you do a very good SEO to the above such site? You may get 10x more traffics...
