Is it possible to penalize competitor ?

When Links from Crappy sites, sites like adult sites, spammed payday loans, selling vi@gra and other cheap link blasts can destroy my site so is it possible to do this on competitor and see them burn.

Trust Me I am not going to do this unethical thing at all. I strongly believe in Karma but I think someone is doing this to me. I am fed up of disavowing bad links which I never created but it is not stopping at all.

If this is possible to harm someone like this ? If yes then is it not leading us all vulnerable to a great extent.

What can I do to stop these?

You can do that but your competitor can "disavow" those links. It won't work in the long term :)
 
You can do it yes. And does work a client of mine had it happen to him. Ex-employ bought half a million links and tanked 3 sites, although you can disavow it took months to get the site to recover in terms of monetary value. Took even longer for tools to find and identify all the links to get them removed.
 
Nowadays Google is very clever they can easily find there is negative SEO done to your site & those links will not affect your site at all so no need to worry.

It can't detect the difference to someone building links 'black hat' and someone just bombing your site with a ton of links.

Although if you have a source that says another wise I'm happy to read and say I'm wrong.
 
It's possible to do it, especially when your opponents not checking a lot of his links. Use spammy list + GSA or senuke and blast your opponents. Remember to not only homepage but his subdomains

"CTR Attack & bounce Attack" = Ignore it don't worry.

Nothing about Link attack. No mention of that. Even comments in the link you posted state the same, there is nothing to protect you from a link attack apart from a disavow tool which can only work once you have the links.

Nothing about Negative SEO on local reviews. Google will not actively remove google reviews on business unless you can put a strong case forward.
 
I think nowadays to hurt someone's site is to fuck up their anchors and 301 redirects. The only 2 ways to do real damage.
 
I dont want to harm anybody at all. Just facing this. Some of the links that come to my site have an awesome SEO stats but after researching i found that they are penalized PBN and of course I think this type of links can seriously hurt my site rather than pure SPAM.
 
Yeah, if you cant do it then dont let others do it. Not a great plan in the long run

It's sadly one of those things in life, meaning you need to disavow them.

Same on this forum when we get the spmmy **££$$ sex - love- mariage - problems in Southport *** spammy threads.
Takes a few moments to remove these, but all in a days work.

As we don't encourage Neg SEO talk especially with such an eye catching title, I'll lock this.
