So what is the beef with online affiliate marketing? I remember back in the day I threw thousands of visitors at one site and spent weeks doing it and only made a few quid. I wish someone would just say 'ok, you can give it a go and you could make 50 p/m, but that's it'. Dreams of 20k etc are just boo hockey.. Sorry!
Everyone's always after the quick easy buck, thruth is: It takes hard work and effort and time to build a nice income using IM methods. It can be done, how much work are you willing to put into it? But its harder than that, work put in must be 'smart' work, or youll spin your wheels off the car.

Nope. I've seen (worked for the guy, had access to his accounts) over $300K in a single month. It's difficult, and it takes a LONG time, but it's not untrue at all.
Hell, I'm still small potatoes compared to the big guns, and I even did over $40K last year.

Well, it is possible to get these crazy earnings, but you wouldn't earn $25K without EXTREME LUCK or, what most people gain, experience & intelligence. If you know HOW to make the money, how to advertise your product(s), then you will be successful.
The thing with Internet Marketing is that niches are always changing. You can't rely on one source to ALWAYS bring you bank.. You need to always be researching others.

xaxistech, the products on Clickbank are all fine. What people hate about them is the hype. A series of ebooks is a series of ebooks. If you know that's what something is going in, then you're probably content with getting it.
If you're told that it's a "super, extra-secret, underground traffic and cash dumping system that the gurus don't want you to know about," then maybe you get pissed.
However, there's still a baby in every bath full of water that is a CB product.
A lot of times (not always), the people who dog CB offers the most are also not making any money online. It's an interesting parallel.

Somtimes you put lots of effort into promoting clickbank products and you make very little. But then you send a tweet out on your twitter and you make a sale or two almost instantly. It's fucked up.
That's why you should build a list and treat them nice to be making 100k weeks. But for that you may need lots of lists in different niches.
Just remember 100k is just a number.

Clickbank prods are good for people starting out I think (ie: noobs) and get alot of people started in the world of IM and such...
As far as affs: Can promote like mad and make some nice coin, however it's like a giant boulder, it takes alot of time and effort to get the thing ROLLING at first, but as you inch it forward, it picks up momentum, and gets easier to roll faster an faster...
As far as Vendors for CB: Not sure of the potentials here, unless ur one of these deep pocket gurus that can throw lots of money out at campaigns... As a small venture vendor, you need to get some help I think to get a good following and sales...
BTW: anyone know of a site that tracks how many total sales a particular vendor has made in a given timeframe? I'm interested to see which prods have sold what and the most...?

Wish I could help you, but there's no such short-cut. There are places and things that will explain certain elements of it, but you have to work at fitting those together in order to be successful.
