my reels are being recognised but my followers are not increasing
Is it possible to grow my account using reels?

Just stay consistent and maybe include a call to action to follow you for more in the reel

Even if you get millions of views on reels hardly a few 100s will convert into followers, its challenging to convince them to follow you as people watch 100s of reels a day.
Try to do a call to action at the end of video and one CTA in caption as well and see how it works.

If your reel content is well good and engaging obviously your account gonna grow and reach well.

Depend on your content quality, If it good then be consistent your account is definitely going to grow.
Can you post some numbers? Because only a small percentage of vierwers/likers convert to followers everytime, and that % depends on a lot of factors, though mainly your profile and niche etc.

Would you give more specific numbers? Try to engage your viewers more, quality and consistent posting. It depends on the niche but conversion from reel views to followers usually is really low around 2-3 % or even lower.

Consistency and post frequency is very important if you are getting recognized, these can help you sustain and entertain the existing audience and gain attract other users too. Usually people don't bother to follow as the videos related to what they see appear with auto-suggest. You just need to make sure with your content that your videos are watched till end by audience. It has been observed that if a video is watched till the end or the twice then more videos of that person automictically appears in the queue of the user.
