I have used the trial and imo the service is not that good compare to Ahrefs and Majestic, so I totally forgot it.
And today I received a email saying I was charged for the subscription:/
Anyone have experience getting refund from this?

Thank you

i had exactly same experience with semrush although i like it but im used to use only trial, doing this i forgot for one account for which i used my main CC. I called their USA Customer support (told them i used my dads CC and he is going to beat me when he comes home) using Nextplus app and got refund like in 3 hours to my bank account. That will be the fastest refund i will ever see i guess.

At $150 it's unlikely that they will do it but since you have nothing to lose, tell them you're going to publish the experience on your blog so others woan'tmake the same mistake. Maybe the "veiled threat" of negative publicity will make then decide that it's cheaper to give you you money back than have their rep ragged on.

I faced the same problem 1 year or maybe 1.5 years back. I was trying trial accounts and then forgot it. They cut $99 from my card. And after two days i contacted with the support and explain all. Around 5-7 days later they refund me the money. So OP you should try to contact with them and explain properly why you are not interested to use it anymore. I don't think so giving threat or posting negative review will create any impact on their business. Its your fault and you can confess it to them. Give a try.

In the end you can always try to chargeback it via your bank. Some banks support this feature and will try to help you to get your money back.

Tried the same thing (get a refund), didn't get anything, not even a response from moz by email
