Is It Possible To Do Twitter Automation Without API Through N8N,

Like i want to do something like python automation to Twitter without API

The reason: the free Twitter API limits is 500 per month that's why I want to post more than that

If there is other better and free way, then let me know

that's a lot of work tbh and probably won't work, I have built tools that bypass twitter api by utilizing nitter's instances https://github.com/zedeus/nitter which is an alternative frontend for twitter

you can also give something like claude code the browser-use MCP and just say "go through and reply to posts blah blah blah"

another method is eliza agents, which is a conversational agent setup for automatically posting across twitter/discord/telegram/reddit etc and can have plugins to do things like trade by itself etc. Setup for eliza takes 5 minutes

Pro tip: Currently eliza uses the twitter api but if you install the old eliza it bypasses the API altogether and can post automatically to twitter :)

Basically, when Eliza agents first came out they could post automatically across X without needing an API - Elon eventually banned the creator and forced him to update the code so that Eliza agents require an X API to work. But if you install eliza and use "1.0.7 plugin-twitter" it completely bypasses the API.

You can ask chatgpt for help but basically to set up eliza its just a few commands in your terminal, which you can find here: https://github.com/elizaOS/eliza

You might be able to automate with Python and web scraping, but it’s risky and can get accounts blocked.

I’ve been curious about this too. have you managed to post or automate any actions through N8N without using the official API yet? i’m wondering if it triggers any verification or temporary lock when sending multiple requests that way

Y mentioned nitter before, so how did y use nitter and this eliza twitter plugin to automatie? with a tool like selenium?
Or y extract interal api then call directtly? (my understanding is these apis are reverse engineered , since they don't rely one twitter officail api)
 
it’s possible but not clean. You can’t use N8N alone to post without the official API you’d need to simulate browser actions like a human. That means pairing N8N with tools like Selenium running inside a workflow.

I use them separately.
nitter - alternative twitter front end. I was avoiding X’s API by scraping nitter mirrors with mirror rotation and mirror health-checks
eliza & twitter plugin - create characters and automate posting across various social media
 
You can automate Twitter without the API using browser tools but it's not recommended.
