Is it possible to do Tier 1 manually for me a newbie?

Hi mates,
I have 1 website of international trading company, not very high competition keywords.
Is it possible for me to built Tier 1 links manually myself, because I heard it's dangerous to build Tier 1 links by machine?

If possible, how or by which software to find the site sources? such as:
PBN Links
Blog Comments
Profile Links
Social Bookmarking
Directory Submissions
Article Submissions

And for Tier 2 links, is it safe to build by software? And what is the best software, GSA SER or any other?

Yes definitely everyone should built their tier1 manually because it is the base of authority and ranking. You should focus on right now all the above platforms you describe except PBN. Instead of PBN use web2.0 if you rank for the keyword you are targeting then great and if not then use PBN.

I am also using this same technique right now to rank my niche website and i am getting fairly good results.

You should also built tier2 manually i know it's a lot of work but it will be worth it for experience and which is must in this internet marketing and seo
 
If you were to do tier 2 by automatic submission will it hit the money site?

I agree with @new_don in all he said. For long term results I would also do tier2 manually. I would use Web2.0 as buffer sites for tier1 too, but treat them as money sites in terms of link building.
Also, you may include some image sharing websites, video sharing and DOC/PDF submissions into mix.

First of all, if your tier 1 links are actually worth anything, then you do not need any tier 2 whatsoever. Second, building tier 2 manually is a joke.

you need automation tool and great indexer for t2 (most indexers are sh1t).


also, if you decide to use one of automation tools t2 works better as relevancy giver than something to pass juice. i indexed countless automated links but bonus wasnt really notable
 
Manual links for tier1 are recommended to keep quality. If you don't have budget and time to create / buy PBN links, you can do web 2.0 for free and manually. However, you need to power up the web 2.0 properties by building links to them. If you know how to use GSA Ser, you could also automate it and keep it quality. Your biggest problem with GSA links will be indexing, google is not picking up those "spam" links the way it used to. This is why I'm personally focused on PBN links on expired domains which already have decent backlink profiles and I don't need to play with link building tools. The quality is much better either.

For long term results on money site, yes. That way the links will be indexed and will stay indexed. In my experience, in long term, is better to have 100 manual tier 2 which are indexed and will stay that way, than to use 10k spam links that will get deleted after some time.

My approach is to create tier1 with quality, and then treat them as money sites. I know that it is time consuming and you can't scale it as most of people do here, but if you are focusing on just one website, I think it's the way to go.

Or you rather invest a few more bucks into a better tier 1 link and you don't have to waste XY hours of work to "make it better". But then again, whatever works for you.
 
Do manual T1, but also use competitors link sources. Manually of course. And remember not to overdo exact keyword anchors, most or anshors should be raw url/just domain name with and without https and similar stuff.
