Is it possible to bring real hits/visits using bots?

i've heard and seen many threads speaking about hits to pages and increasing alexa rankings and so on..
but is it really possible to bring real hits/visits to websites that counts on google analytics? if so, pls suggest a bot that worked for you..

I don't think a bot can do this, but I could be wrong.

I am the author of the Robin Hood Hit Bot and have been asked about this numerous times.

Why not?
Basically by installing the Alexa tool bar you are sure all visitors report to Alexa and when using the Internet Explorer/FireFox API from your program (HTMLUnit for example in Java) the traffic looks equal to a normal browser request.

yep... every day the same set of ips - just your list of public proxies. If you have a some other sources, tell me please

I use HtmlUnit and technically with thousands of proxies this is most easily doable. But not when the same set of proxies hits day for day your site, Alexa can't be that dumb, do they?

Using bots to bring real visits... It could work but you have to have a good plan to get the bots fake hits to attract real hits.
