Is it possible to be a Billionaire from Zero [Age 22]

Definitely possible, but extremely difficult. Take Mark Zucherberg, for example. He managed it.

Like others have said, even if you're goal is to get to 1 billion, keep that as your long term goal, and create smaller short term goals that work to GET to your dream. Having something set up like that helps with motivation and gives you the ability to see if you could do better at each step or need to change something to get to your next "sub-goal." With this, as results come in, you can work your way up. Now a billion is a pretty hefty goal, but at the same time, keep note of your accomplishments and failures as time goes on and build off them to help yourself further. good luck!

Just reached milestone of age 22 and I want to reach a solid milestone and that is 1,000,000,000$ in real life not only in dreams.

Problems:
01: The value of my wallet is no more than 0$
02: I don't have that kind of family business.
03: I am from a developing country.
04: I don't have contacts with political persons.
05: In a word, I have nothing.

Inspiration or destruction, Come on please give me. I need it badly.

Zuckerberg, Gates, Buffett, etc., also came in the world with nothing. Trump had about a million to start with, but instead of frittering it away like most heirs, he built a billion from it. So first say YES I CAN, then build a plan to do it you can stick with.

Next, ask yourself HOW DO I DO IT, and answer it by studying the life stories of the successful billionaires. This will show you the pathway and methods they used in narrative format, from which you can construct your own plan. Also note their attitude and character, and figure out if you have the same internal capacities to deal with the obstacles they encountered, external and internal. Ask yourself 'do you want to go there' when it comes to following some of their practices. Do you want to rip off somebody else's idea to bring your own Facebook to the market first? Do you want to be a seminar huckster, and literally get attendees to walk over hot coals to show they believe your teachings? And so on.

Then step it out. Plan out your journey, perhaps working backwards from the finish line (referencing those prior success stories as a guide). Gather the resources you can from networking, information, or assets you can acquire at your current level. Break down success levels you want to arrive at in manageable chunks to mark your trajectory. If working IM from 'zero,' for example, you could try freelancing to earn some fast but sure pocket money, say aim for earning a doable average of $33 a day (working 6 days a week, that's $10,000 a year). Use the cash to buy some domains and build some niche sites, say 15-20, that together can passively make you the same $33 a day, or more (freeing you up from active freelancing).

Both of these together, or each by themselves can be achieved to that level within six months. Now use this foundation to do or outsource some more ambitious stuff as an offline web/SEO consultant (make or improve sites for offline businesses), charge a net $333 per client and complete six deals a week. Now you're making $100,000 a year. From there, go with whatever business or investment you can now afford to build to higher levels. E.g., start a web seminar business, charge a net $333 per person for your 'secrets,' limit 10 people per weekly seminar (live or on the web). If 10 people a week buy into your expertise, now you're earning a million a year. And on and on from there.

I can guarantee that you will not be a billionaire unless you change your attitude and even then it is very unlikely although not impossible. Your first barrier to becoming one is this very thread, it shows that you're not really working towards being one, if you were, you wouldn't have time to post such bullshit.

Always aim high because if you even get close you've done alright.

man, it's basic compound interest..

make 50k somehow (maybe working) and then invest those 50k wisely (read everything Warren Buffet has to say).

If you can make 22% on average per year on your money, in 50 years you will have your billion!

Any event that occurs inside borders of physics as we know it should never surprise anyone. Being a billionaire is not a myth, there are number of them outside. But what makes you think you'll stop at billion? At that stage money as such has lost it's value for you anymore.. You eventually become interested in how things work and try to buy somehow every next step of your life. Or maybe I'm wrong

That's a great share Pally D!, The forum needs more members like yourself.

You've got everything you need to become the next billionaire! You have time. That's the most important factor. You have BHW, and that's a resource most people don't have. Sure, there's no billionaires that I'm aware of on here, but that doesn't mean you couldn't become the first.
If you have the real, true drive to succeed/earn $1,000,000,000 then go after it, but it will take time and hard work, so if you're not prepared for that, and only want to say 'I'm poor BHW help me' you'll get nowhere fast.

Here's my plan for you.
-- Start cranking out articles left and write (bad pun sorry), and buy yourself a domain name relating to billion dollars. Start blogging about the steps you are taking to reach your goal EVERY DAMN DAY JUST DO IT. Make YouTube videos once a week recapping your goals and how you're achieving them one step at a time.
Then find yourself a solid niche and start to market big things to them. Then expand and scale until you've got big money. Then you can invest in other shit and profit more. From there it's actually easier (but you knew that I assume)

I think most people on these forums don't come here for the money. Most can make comparable money elsewhere. We do IM because it means freedom.

Freedom and time are the things that are the most important, not a billion dollars. That money just buys the first two in a sense.

Totally agree with brainstorm1, we do IM because we are our own bosses which gives us freedom... thats the beauty of IM
Hopefully I will succeed in IM and wont have to work a single hour in my life(I consider IM a hobby- something I love to do, so it doesnt go in "job" category)

cheers, baxxx

Thanks everyone for such solid inspirational words. I am just Inspired.

My Point of view:
As the world future is technology. I have just fixed my mind to do something for technology, which can be a big contribution to my dream. The journey is not comfortable but what can i do, this heart never understands. Currently i am mastering programming languages and i do believe, technology is just in it's starting phase. There are lots to be invented in future. Again i believe, the season of gates, zuckerberg is gone. Now, everything getting company based. The world is going to be ruled by capitalists. So, i am planning to form a IT company and move on.
Before reading your posts, i was thinking, I am just playing, with my life. Now i know, I am not playing, Anything can be possible by Anyone. Maybe i am in my way. With so many problems, i have got one positive thing and that is attitude for Success. I can work 24 hours. This never makes me tired.
I have fixed to experience my life till age 30. If i can't gain anything significant till than, I would just shut down everything.

Those who wonder, why i have created this thread:
Things have changed since few decade. Working hard is not just enough but we need working harder and longer. To keep concentration, we need Inspirations.

Thanks Again:
Each and everyone who inspired me, thank you so many much. Each and every word you wrote is just blue printed in my heart. If somehow someday, I gain success[billion]. You keep sure, you also have a contribution on that. Thank You!

I highly doubt it is as easy to make a billion dollars as people on who have replied to this thread makes it sound. Although Buffet, Gates, and Trump are good examples, they are an EXTREMELY select few. Currently, there are close to 7 billion humans living on this planet. Out of this number, only a small fraction of a percentage even reached millionaire status. If it really is this easy to become a billionaire, then why isn't everybody one already?

If you want to be a Billionaire..start googling like crazy, find where a need or desire is left to be filled, make a business out of it, and execute efficiently. Also, stay OFF of these forums, this site is a waste of time for people who are aiming for billionaire status. You're not going to find anything here, except a few services that might help you out. I only come on here every once in awhile myself...

Become an engineer then focus on big projects. As to your current situation, how are you living if you got no funds?

I would focus first on getting to your "replacement level" or money earned per year/month so that you wouldn't have to do anything except your business. Once that is achieved it takes otherwordly discipline to get to billions etc.! Good luck!

Dan

There is nothing you can do that has already been done to become a billionaire. I see names mentioned in this thread of people who have become billionaires from nothing, however, the one thing they have in common is being a pioneer in an industry that nobody thought much of at the time. They went against trends and did it anyway.

You can't DO what's already been done or any of those methods and become a billionaire. Blue Ocean Strategy. Get on it. You can't even be at the "leading edge of the curve" you have to CREATE an entirely new curve for others to follow and build from.
