Hi all
i don't know about the indexing process or how google index backlinks but i know from tools that i need to ping the backlinks url to get indexed
is it possible to automate the process using n8n
any other thoughts about how to get the full potential of n8n in the backlinks

Yes, you can automate a good part of the process using n8n,pinging, submitting to indexers, even triggering bot crawls or visits. But just pinging URLs isn’t enough these days to guarantee indexing.
The setups that work combine multiple layers: bot calls (Googlebot, Bingbot) and behavioral signals. That’s where mobile proxies come in,they’re used to simulate organic-looking visits (scroll, time on page) from clean IPs to the pages containing backlinks. so i need Apis from Paid services also as i understand
 
Depends on where you get your Backlinks from.
Usually you can Work with an API.
For If not in the Tool, you can write a little Script.

Sounded a bit Like n8n ads...
 
i thought about for behavioral signals
the scenario is like: write well optimized blog posts on my domain get good Page Authority - insert high authority backlinks like from google sites - this backlink inserted pointing to for collection page in shopify
this way i get high authority backlinks to money page and good behavioral signal
hope the explanation is clear

You don’t necessarily need paid APIs right away. You can start with basic workflows that simulate visits (scroll, click, dwell time) from clean IPs, as long as you control the origin and frequency.
APIs are helpful if you're looking to scale or plug signals into a broader stack (like indexing bots + behavioral mimicry), but for early tests, even a manual setup using mobile IP rotation can already help with stubborn indexing.

IndexNow will only send data to search engines that support it, eg Bing and Yandex. It's not possible to 'ping' Google any more since their endpoints were shut down in 2023. It's possible to automate the '301 redirect to third party url' method - that would require the ability for n8n to interact with a GSC account and the .htaccess file of a domain in that account.

Good question. I’ve been testing a mix of approaches rather than a single endpoint: submitting URLs via search-engine submission/index APIs, pinging sitemaps/RSS hubs, sending links to third-party indexer services, and creating social/syndication signals. Pinging alone rarely guarantees indexing — results come from combining signals and tracking what actually works for each engine.

Which search engines or platforms are you targeting?

Wow didn't knew that n8n can be used for SEO also. I mean it can be used for anything but it's interesting to see how people are using such tools for wide range of things.
